WHO WE ARE
Rivercity Steel Band is an inclusive community group providing a welcoming, supportive framework for its members.
Membership is open to people of all ages from all walks of life and musical ability and there is a new children's band.
Instruments and tuition are provided at rehearsals. There is no need to be able to read music, all you need is enthusiasm and a feel for the beat. Come along and check us out!
The band performs regularly throughout Brisbane at local festivals, community and school events.
The band is an incorporated association and all income is used for band development, maintenance of instruments and other band expenses.
OUR MUSIC
Rivercity and Mini Rivers Steelbands perform a variety of Caribbean style music on traditional hand made Trinidadian steel pans.

Rehearsals for both bands are held on Tuesday evenings at
the Food Connect Shed in Salisbury.
